Kittle's Furniture

From its 1932 origin as a single store operation in downtown Indianapolis, the Kittle's organization has grown into a 17-store operation offering the Midwest's largest selection of furnishings and accessories from around the world. Founded by Clarence L. Kittle in 1932 as a furniture and appliance retailer, Kittle's first store was located on Pennsylvania Street in downtown Indianapolis. In 1944 Clarence Kittle and son Jim Kittle, Sr. became partners. Joined by the next generation Jim Jr., and John L. Kittle in 1968 and 1969, Kittle's also purchased Indianapolis' Whitehall Ethan Allen Gallery, firmly establishing Kittle's as Indiana's foremost furniture retailer. "Corporate Commitment has been to provide Indiana & Ohio with the finest selection of home furnishings and services at the best possible prices."
